My very favorite website on the internet for a host of reasons, NewspaperArchive, has worked out a deal to digitize a vast collection of international newspapers from the University of Virginia. What a boon to researchers! I'll watch for announcements about the unveiling of this interesting new at-your-fingertips resource.
Meanwhile, the Irish Times is now digitized and searchable, and I found some articles about a certain old mystery that's fascinated me for years and even found some information on my Irish ancestors. My mother was pure Irish, dad pure English, and that's where the trouble began. Anyway, the Irish Times has carried wire stories from all over the world for generations, including Reuters, and the rates aren't bad either. With an archive going back to 1859, there is much to discover in its vaults.
Thanks for the great words! I'll try to keep you up to date as we find and add more interesting content.
