Clews now has some reconfigured blogrolls (on the right). The first is The True Crime Blogroll -- an effort to raise the profile of true crime bloggers spearheaded by "Trench" of The Trenchcoat Chronicles (an angry high school principal? a worried parent? he won't say -- but his blog is one of the most popular on the net) .
Meanwhile I've added a second blogroll for crime-related sites I enjoy and my latest discovery is a blog written by Jonathan Edelstein called The Head Heeb. Jonathan focuses largely on international events (particularly those of the Middle East) but occasionally he dips into a site called The Old Bailey Online. That website contains the full accounts of more than 100,000 criminal trials in London from 1674 to 1834. Jonathan is an attorney with an interest in historic cases, and once in a while he peruses the Old Bailey records, finds absorbing stories waiting to be retold, and translates them for us into modern prose in his blog category The Old Bailey Files. He's a terrific writer with excellent taste in good old stories.
If you have come across a similar blog or site -- or write one -- do share.
Concerned parent. Former bullying victim. Case of mistaken online identity when Columbine happened. And I would hardly say my blog is one of the most popular but thank you. :)
