Hmm, I have never heard of the Ann rule. Being a True Crime fan, I'll have to review this book myself. My top choice for True Crime Murders is "Murder By Family," by Ken Whitaker. It broke my heart, but I couldn't put it down! His book was so well written! I loved all the examples from life and culture that he used to make his son and the story come to life.

It is not the "Ann" rule, it is Ann Rule, the true crime writer. She is probably most well known for her book, "The Stranger Beside Me" about Ted Bundy.
