The man who held the Edmund L. Pearson Chair at Vanity Fair and who hobnobbed and reported on the rich and bloody has passed away at 83. The Chicago Sun-Times has details as does the Telegraph, and Vanity Fair has written a nineteen-page obituary. We are left with the genius's archive of treasures.
How sad. I never watched the news yesterday but I did a watch "Dominick Dunne Power, Privilege and Justice" marathon last night. Guess thats why they were running it. May he rest in peace now thats he's with his daughter Dominique again.
